Engineering

Members of the Engineering group work both ashore and onboard the vessels.

The onboard group is made up of the licensed and unlicensed members of the ships’ Engineering Department. These people have the day-to-day responsibilities to operate and maintain the engines, generators, and all other components of the ships’ power plant. Additionally, a shore-based Engineering Group supports the shipboard personnel by providing overall engineering assistance such as: technical information, regulatory oversight, dry-dock planning, repair execution, and improvement projects. Members of this shore-based group all have significant sailing experience and/or possess valuable experience in the design, construction, and repair of large tank ships.

All Fleet and shore-based Engineering personnel are dedicated to protecting the environment in which we operate by maintaining the highest levels of maintenance and pollution prevention measures.
